On January 7th, 2021 Donnie “Chris” Christopher Morey was called to his heavenly home. Chris was born on March 23, 1961 in Suffolk, England to Ruby Jewell Rutledge and Donnie Franklin Morey. He married the love of his life Renae Neill on September 16, 2006. He worked as a mechanic for MPS Westrock for 33 years. Chris had the biggest heart and was always willing to help no questions asked. Everyone dear to him was considered family.
Chris was preceded in death by Donnie Franklin Morey(father), Ruby Jewell Rutledge(mother), Allie Morey(stepmother), Jimmy Howard(brother) and Caroline Rimkus(sister).
Chris Morey is survived by his wife Renae Morey. Children- Tommy Morey, Christina and Justin Bitner, Wendy and Cody Derington, Samantha and Will Isaacs, and Jessica Rosenthal. Grandchildren- Andrea, Ethan, Allison, Layla, Rebekah, Jaxon, Bailey, and Lilly. Siblings- Dorthy Roberts, Sandy and Adam Rabalais, John and Becky Morey, and Donna and Danny Solis. There were many others that Chris helped to raise and considered them as his own kids. As well as many friends that he considered as family!
