Cynthia Kay Gregg Evans, 73, was called home to the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2021. She was born on February 13, 1947 in Rising Star, Texas to Mack Gregg and Youtha Milford Gregg.
Cynthia attended high school in Kermit, Texas and graduated in 1965. She was a wife and homemaker, but also worked outside the home in banking, secretarial, and retail.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Gerry Gregg.
Cynthia loved her kids and grandkids and was known to them as “Grommy”. She loved making funnel cakes for them and taking them to the park. She was always available to help take care of her grandkids and loved each of them unconditionally. She had a great love for her pets, dancing to western swing music, and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking, crafts and reading.
Left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband, Lance Evans.

Brother-in-law: Ronnie Evans and wife Judy of San Angelo, niece Kelly Childers (Tommy) of Midland.
And many friends who knew and loved her.

Family visitation at Shaffer Funeral Home will be Monday, January 11, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A private Celebration of Life for family and close friends will be held Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.
