Ky had severe asthma as a child with sometimes debilitating effects, but he didn’t let that stop him. He was all over the place enjoying life as a carefree child as much as he possibly could. Ky’s passion was helping animals…any animal. He had such a tender heart for all things four-legged.
Ky was a very giving person who wouldn’t hesitate to help anyone that he could whether they knew it or not. If he was able to help, he would.
He loved his girls beyond what they will ever know. Ashley, Mandy, and Courtney were the light of his life. He felt very blessed to be their Dad. His eyes would light up when he related experiences he shared with them. He carried all of those in his heart and would pull them up and replay them from time to time. It kept him going…it made his days brighter.
Ky endured many illnesses, numerous surgeries, and countless ups and downs during his lifetime. His faith never wavered during those times. He loved God and Jesus and we know he is with them at this moment.
Ky ended his courageous battle with liver and kidney failure on October 7, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Settle, and brother, Kim. Ky is survived by his loving mother Sylvia Settle, brother Kevin and his wife Lorie, brother Kirk, and daughters Ashley, Mandy, and Courtney.
