June 9, 2020. She was born in Brady, Texas to Elmer and
Luzelle Flemming on October 12, 1949. Belann graduated from
Brady High and later attended Angelo State University. She
made San Angelo, Texas her home in 1984 where she raised
four beautiful children.
Belann dedicated her life to the betterment and service of
others. She spent years working for the ICD Family Shelter,
Williams House, San Angelo Detox Center and Community
Medical Center. Belann’s devotion to her community was only
outshined by her devotion to her family. Anyone who needed a
mother found one with Belann. She married Harvey Richardson
in 1972 and together they had four wonderful children; Rachel, Kimberly, Anthony and Jason.
Through her marriage she was blessed with six more children; Kenneth, Timothy, Elaine,
Beverly, Joe and Christie. As the matriarch of our family, Belann was instrumental in the
up-bringing of her grandchildren, often serving as caregiver and roll model.
Belann is survived by her sister Tony Brown and husband Bob Brown of Lufkin, Tx. Her children
Rachel (Clint) Bollier of Oddessa, Kimberly (Charles) Robertson of San Angelo, Anthony
(Ashley) Richardson of Brady, and Jason Richardson of San Angelo. Her step son Timothy
(Kaylen) Richardson of Brady, Joe (Jessica) Richardson of Odessa, step daughter Beverly Flint
(Tony) of Brady, and Christi (David) Morton of Brady. She leaves behind her grandchildren
Mycah Crawford (Michael), Christopher Allgeier (Janette), Justin Wallace (Brennan), Megan
Allgeier, Tyler Wallace, Charlene Robertson (Jason), Summer Richardson, Christian
Richardson, Mackenzie Robertson, Julie Richardson, Lena Richarsdon, and Oakley Robertson.
Six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her brother T. Flemming, her niece Dena
Brown, a grandson Sebastian Richardson, her step son Kenneth Richardson and her step
daughter Elaine Roberts.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at The Cowboy Church 4015 N
Chadbourne ST, San Angelo, Texas 76903. Please join us for fellowship at 11:30 with the
service to begin at 1:00 pm.
