Born in El Paso, Tx to Marion Howard Batchelor and Lillian Marie Cooper . Patricia, known to all as Pat, as a young girl had gone to live in Lee Moore Children’s Home where she thrived. She was active in the high school band as well as an amazing tennis player. She came to have a huge and loving extended family and life long friends from Lee Moore. El Paso would be where she met and married her husband of 49 years on December 10, 1970. After her husbands time in the Army ended the couple moved to San Angelo, Tx where they lived and raised their family.
In 1988, Pat and family moved to Florida where she had a long career at Time Warner Cable Services . She loved to fish almost everyday, and was at her happiest time on the water in the warm Florida evenings with her fishing pole. On weekends she would spend the entire day fishing with her husband and grandson Zachary. After many years of living in Florida she decided to move to Colorado , where the snow was. Nothing made her happier than snow, this was the happiest place on earth for her. While in Colorado she opened up her own cafe, The Falling Rock Cafe, which she owned and operated for many years.
Pat eventually returned home to San Angelo where she remained. She began working at IHOP as a server , where she made amazing friends and touched the hearts of many. She was diagnosed with cancer which began a 9 year fight that she fought with every ounce of her being. She would always have a smile on her face , and never met a stranger. She loved telling jokes and making people laugh, or just sitting and talking about anything that popped in her head. She had a bright light , huge heart, and a love for people and animals like no other. She will be greatly missed by many and anyone who came in any contact with her.

When Tomorrow Starts
When tomorrow starts without me please try to understand. That an angel came and called my name , and took me by the hand. The angel said my place was ready , in Heaven far above, and that I’d have to leave behind all those that I dearly love. But when I walked through Heaven’s Gates, I felt so much at home, for God looked down, smiled at me, and told me “Welcome Home” So when tomorrow starts without me, Don’t think we’re far apart, for every time you think of me, I’m right there in your heart.
