Obituary

June Balentine passed away peacefully at 12:00 on May 20, 2020. June was born in Hobbs New Mexico on September 14, 1937 to Orville Leon and Mary Eleanor Pierce.
June went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 82. After a prolonged illness, it would be wrong to say that June lost the battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, June stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.
June was a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother.
Lovingly remembered by her sons Carey Balentine and wife Teri. Cody Balentine and wife Tracey. Survived by brother Billy Pierce and sister Alice Cochran. Preceded in death by sister Carolyn Fox and brother Walter Pierce. Grandsons, Braden Balentine and partner Cardi Gilley. Colten Balentine and wife Nicki. Shane Lewallen and wife Shelley. Ashley Lewallen and wife Amy. Great grandchildren Jensen, Tyler, Darren, Madyson, Corley, Kaylee, and Hannah.
June was a master seamstress and manufactured numerous textile items for interior design shops around the Country, one of which was the famous Watergate Hotel in Washington D.C.
We would like to thank the loving staff at the Regency House for their compassionate care.
June’s beautiful smile and infectious laughter will be missed by all.

June was always so sweet and nice to me. I was part of an extended family, because of Colten’s wife, Nicki. I will always remember her with a smile on her face and asking how is doing. Although I did not know her long, I will miss seeing her, when I travel to San Angelo.
Rest In Peace snd God Bless you.

June was my sister in law , and I loved her very much ,when I was in my teens she helped me in so many ways ,she would help make my clothes and do my hair , as my mother was usually taking care of my sister who had polio and was bed ridden, Carey and Cody came to be like my own and loved them so very very much , Even tho there were a lot of miles in between us the last 30 years she was stil on my mind and in my heart
