Jewell Frances "Nanna" Bloodworth Wallace passed from this life into the arms of Jesus, Thursday, Dec 27, 2018, at the age of 88 years. Jewell was born to Horace and Mary Walker Bloodworth on Feb. 27, 1930, in Coke County. She grew up and lived her entire life in Silver, TX, and Robert Lee, TX. In Robert Lee, Jewell met and married the love of her life, J.C. Wallace Jr. They married on Dec. 21, 1948 and spent 59 incredible years together. Five wonderful children were added to this blessed union. Through the years Jewell worked at taking care of her family, working at the Robert Lee Observer Newspaper Office, and for 20 years worked as the Assistant Postmaster at the Robert Lee United States Post Office.

Her greatest accomplishment was being the best "Nanna" ever to her six beautiful grandchildren. Most importantly, Jewell walked with the Lord and lived her life in service to Him. She is described best as a loving caregiver, taking care of all who needed her.
Jewell is preceded in death by her husband, J.C., two daughters, Marilyn Smith and Donna Morton, her parents and all of her siblings, Allen Bloodworth, Raymond Bloodworth, Earnest Bloodworth, Clayton Bloodworth, Daisy Price, and Ruby Robertson.
Survivors include her children Jacky and Pam Wallace of Abilene, Susan and Troy Millican of Sterling City, Buddy and Kip Wallace of Robert Lee, and Jackie Smith of Lubbock. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jessica Smith, Joel Smith, Lindsay and Michael Wallace-Mullins, Cayla and Jerrod Holt, Tyler and Alison Wallace, and Jeff and Kate Gibson, as well as three great grandchildren Oliver and Samuel Gibson, and John Crea Holt, and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Visitation with family and friends was held on, Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, at Shaffer Funeral Home in Robert Lee with family present from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Services were held on Wednesday, Jan 2, 2019, at 2:00 in the afternoon at the Northside Church of Christ in Robert Lee, TX. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
