Patricia dedicated her life to the people she loved and embodied the scripture Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” She loved her family unconditionally and never met a stranger.
She loved watching reality TV shows (her favorite was Survivor) and doted on her dog Tilt. While she couldn’t cook, she loved helping clean up, specifically washing dishes. Patricia spent her career between GTE in San Angelo and The Observer in Robert Lee.
Patricia is survived by her sister, Janis Fowler, and sister-in-law Mary Fowler; her daughters Robbie Ruff and Tammy Riggs; her son Samuel Taft; sons-in-law Daniel Ruff and Kenneth Riggs; grandchildren Brandon Alsup, Brittany Taft, Jonathan Ruff, Nathanial Taft, Mackenzie Vanderventer, Breanna Taft, Lilee Taft, Cloe Taft; great-grandson Grayson; as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins all of whom she loved and cared for endlessly.
Please join us in celebrating her life on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Robert Lee Baptist Church located at 22 W. 11th St. in Robert Lee, Texas. While flowers are appreciated and arrangements can be made at Schaffer Funeral Home or Southwest Florist in San Angelo, Texas, the family asks you to consider instead making a donation to your local animal shelter; Patricia was passionate about all animals.
Patricia was loved, cherished, and dear to many and will be missed intensely.
